Smooth Bore PTFE Hose

Smooth Bore PTFE Hose offers maximum flow, along with average flexibility. It is plain and smooth from inside and outside, without convolutions. So it can be easily cleaned from inside.

Heavy gauge hard Stainless Steel 304 wire is used for external braiding, which provides increased pressure rti1ng and externalresistance of the hose from corrosive chemicals.

PTFE Hose are designed to ensure minimum porosity and maximum flexibility. These non metallic hoses are available in long lengths. Plain PTFE is excellent for applications in which minimum flexing or movement is required.

It has excellent chemical resistance, non contamination proper1es and resists deterioration. Provides good flexing for longer lengths of the hose, and is used for applications which require medium pressure. Silicon sleeve or Rubber hose covering can be used externally for protection against external harsh environments.

Convoluted PTFE Hose

The fundamental issue with smooth bore PTFE hose is that as its inner diameter increases, the flexibility reduces. Apart from 1/4" Smooth bore PTFE hose, for particular smaller lengths the flexibility for larger sizes is relatively much less. So for larger diameters, the plain PTFE hose behavesas a rigid pipe or provides minimum flexibility. In order to increase the flexibility, Convoluted PTFE hoses are preferred.

The plain tube is convoluted using a forming die, and then heated to bond the layers. The convolutions are helically formed to provide maximum flexibility even for smaller lengths.

The convolutions are spread at a greater angle so as to provide better cleanability and drain-ability as compared to other convoluted hoses available in the market.

Uniquely designed Convoluted PTFE hoses provide greater flexibility even for hoses with larger inner diameter, or smaller lengths, without compromising on other technical ratings.

The hose has excellent temperature characteristics, chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction, resists deterioration and has mild pressure ratings.

Externally rubber hose, or silicone sleeve can be used to cover the hose to protect it against harsh or corrosive external environments.

Vacuum PTFE Hose

Vacuum PTFE Hose, with an external vacuum metal wire, offers maximum flow, increased crush resistance and vacuum capability, along with great flexibility as compared to a Smooth bore PTFE hose of the same specification. Designed using open pitched, helical convolutions for the ease of cleaning. More bend radii thana smooth bore PTFE Hose.

Braided with heavy gauge Stainless Steel 304 wire, to improve the pressure capability and external protection during and after installation.

Used for applications which have medium pressure to full vacuum, and require more flexing.

Steel Braided PTFE Hose with Crimped Fittings

A large variety of end connections are available to be used with PTFE Hoses, whether it be Smoothbore PTFE Hose or Convoluted PTFE Hose or Vacuum PTFE Hose. The PTFE hose assemblies are specially designed to be crimped to the hose. Once manufactured, the End Fittings are tightly crimped to the hose, as per the end user requirement. The entire hose assembly is 100% leakage tested, hydraulically or pneumatically.

It should be noted that for PTFE Hose with Crimped Fittinngs, the inner diameter is reduced as compared to its actual Nominal Bore. Also, the inner media will be subjected to the metallic material at the end fittngs area, so such crimped fittings should not be used for applications which require otherwise.

For applications in which the inner media should not be in contact with any metallic surface, read the PTFE Hose with Flared End Fittings section below.

All our PTFE hoses are food grade type, and best suited for Food,Dairy and Pharmaceutical industries and so can the uniquely designed Stainless Steel 316 fittings be used for food and dairy related applications.

⇨ Hose Inner Diameter : 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1", 1.5", 2", 3"
⇨ Hose Length : Available as per your specification
⇨ Fitting Design : As per Standard, BS, ASME, ANSI, JIS, KF, ISO, PN etc.     or Custom made ⇨ Hose Type : Convoluted, Smooth Bore or Vacuum     PTFE Hose
⇨Fitting Type : Dairy Union, Flanged End, Tri Clover Ferrule, Camlock      Coupling and more.

Steel Braided PTFE Hose with Flared / Lined End Fittings

PTFE Flared / Lined Flexible Hoses are used in applications which require full contact of the inner media with PTFE throughout the hose, in order to avoid contact of the inner media with metal fittings. Manufacturing this is a very unique procedure, wherein the inner PTFE tube is extended outside the hose and spread over the fitting, by a special procedure, known as flaring.

Flared PTFE Hose also eliminates bacteria traps during usage. These PTFE Hoses are constructed as a single tube, extruded on the outside and then flared, as a consequence of which the inner diameter will be equivalent to the actual inner diameter, which guarantee no chances of leakage and maximum flow benefits.

Not only does this Teflon lining procedure ensure beder quality but also helps extend the life of the hoses, as compared to Non-flared hoses. However, for applica1ons where the interference ofthe inner media with the end fitting material is not an issue, flaring may not be required.

Since PTFE (Teflon) is used more often for Food grade products, the PTFE ( Teflon) hoses with flared ends are more preferable where food and beverages related applications are concerned.

Heavy Walled PTFE Lined Hose with Flared Fittings

Thick walled PTFE lined inside a Stainless Steel Braided Hose. Used in application which have higher pressure rating. The end fittings are flared, as a result of which the inner media does not come in contact with any metal surface. Outer thick walled stainless steel braided protection makes it ideal for applications in which the external environment may be corrosive.

Thick walled PTFE Lining makes the hose rigid, allowing minimal thermal expansion contraction, but not any flexibility.

The thickness will depend upon the applications, but more commonly the thickness of the inner lining will range from 3mm to 8mm. The plain inner surface provides beder cleanability and drain-ability, at the same time adequate outer protec1on against external corrosive environments.

Heavy walled PTFE Hose is 100% leak tested and a cost effective solution for a wide range of applications.
